The plate depicts two predators from the canid family: At the top, the red fox with its pointed snout, reddish-brown fur and bushy tail, below the larger gray wolf with its more powerful build and muscular stature. The fox is known for its adaptability and cunning and inhabits various habitats from forests to urban areas.
