The male jaguar (Panthera onca) displays its powerful build with golden-yellow fur and characteristic black rosette spots. Known as "Jaguar mâle" the jaguar inhabits rainforests, wetlands and savannas of Central and South America. As the largest big cat of the American continent, it hunts with enormous bite force both on land and in water and is considered a skilled swimmer and climber.
