Pavilion 6-The chandelier in the billiard room
Designed by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, the building was designed by the doctor Emili Briansó, who persuaded the Reus bourgeoisie to invest in this ambitious psychiatric hospital project at the end of the 19th century.
The number six, known under the name Dels Distingits, is particularly remarkable for its great ornamental richness. It is the one with the greatest artistic value of the whole complex because it preserves the spectacular aesthetic repertoire typical of modernism: windows, mosaics, ceramics and original furniture.
