edition of 25 published in 1984 by Garton & Cooke.
The calendar Robin Tanner planned never appeared, this is an early etching in the sequence. The design is made from the first flowers of spring: primrose, celandine, coltsfoot, winter aconite, snowdrop, stinking hellebore, violet and catkins of hazel and willow, with lichened bark, a skeletonised holly leaf and two empty beech-nut husks arranged at the base of the cup.
