Identity, borders and crossings portrayed through human figures - especially in female representations - are structural points in Luciano Cian's research. An imagery construction that dialogues with his personal experience of origin - and the lack of a sense of belonging. Throughout an almost nomadic Luciano Cian was born in 1973 in Lorena, São Paulo, Brazil. He currently lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
