After undertaking his artistic studies at the Harrow and Hornsey College of Art in London, Phil Greenwood shortly became a teacher in printmaking until 1971, when he decided to be a full time artist and print-maker. Since then, he has been working and living in Kent, while exhibiting his work both in England and abroad. Although, Phil Greenwood’s beautiful landscapes illustrate a vast range of tones, he only uses two or three main colors throughout the process, making his etchings highly unique.
