Roberta Murray, ASA is a visual storyteller from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. She has been a maker of pictures since she could hold a pencil. She has earned recognition in several different genres. An award-winning photographer, painter, and illustrator. Today she spends most of her creative time on painting and illustrations for the book cover market.
She studied photography and the fibre arts, but she could never spend very long without picking up the pencil or paintbrush. That need to create visual stories is deeply ingrained in who she is.
