Abigail is of mixed heritage, her parents having migrated from the West Indies to the UK during the 1960s. Born and educated in London, she initially trained as a textile designer, subsequently pursuing a Master’s degree in Fine Art at The City & Guilds of London Art School in 2017.
Abigail’s work is deeply autobiographical, reflecting the many layers of emotion and the rich complexity of her family life. Her inspiration is drawn from moments of closeness and connection with those dearest to her.
