Kunstwerk von ' Johann Martin Will (1727-1807)' gefunden, 2

American Revolution. Engraving of side view of an American soldier of the Congress in North America, after the drawing of a German officer, Johann Martin Will, c. 1780. The uniform originated in the Virginia back country, likely influenced by Native American costumes. Washington supported the use of the linen shirts because British soldiers associated them with skilled American marksmanship (engraving)
