Harold Burdekin was a British artist born in 1899. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London and later became a member of the Royal Society of British Artists. Burdekin was known for his landscape paintings, which often depicted the countryside and coastlines of England. He was also a skilled portrait painter and produced many commissioned works throughout his career. Burdekin's style was influenced by the Impressionist movement, and he used loose brushstrokes and vibrant colors to capture the essence of his subjects.
