‘From a very early age, I created scenes with images of my own imagination; gradually, over many years, with growing knowledge of art practices, art history and my own life experiences, this developed into my work as it is now. I would describe my paintings as visual symphonies of colour, subject and composition.
My ultimate goal is to convey the evocative power of nature, and, to this end, my paintings reflect a preoccupation with landscape, natural forms, study of colour and forms of light.
