Paul Colin (1892-1985) was a French artist and designer best known for his iconic poster designs. Born in Nancy, France, Colin studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nancy before moving to Paris in 1910. He quickly established himself as a leading figure in the world of graphic design, creating posters for music halls, theaters, and cabarets. His most famous work is the poster for the Josephine Baker show "La Revue Nègre" in 1925, which helped to launch Baker's career.
