Artist, born in London, who studied at Ealing School of Art. He was for a time staff artist on the publications Graphic and Sphere and in 1923 became chief staff artist on the Illustrated London News. During World War I he was head of aerial diagrams for the Royal Flying Corps and an Official War Artist. Davis wrote many articles connected with marine illustration and was very prolific as an illustrator, famous for his diagrammatic drawings and cross-sections of ships. He was a member of RSMA and a founder-member of the Society of Aviation Artists. Showed at RA, Imperial War Museum which holds Artist, born in London, who studied at Ealing School of Art.
