Born and educated in Sheffield, Martin Decent has been painting all his life. Originally known for landscapes, in the past few years his subject matter has broadened to seascapes and interiors. Within this, however, colour has remained consistent. His pallet has become the trademark of his work.<br> <br> Martin’s work has been used for greetings cards, prints and CD covers by the publishing industry. He is a contributor to the Royal Society of Marine Artists and was elected an Associate Member.
