b. 1920<br> As a distinguished member of the Royal Academy, Bernard Dunstan's work is well-known and well-respected amongst his peers and the art world alike. His harmonious use of colour is effective in evoking the ambiance of his subjects. Dunstan studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art in 1939 before progressing to the Slade School of Fine Art, London from 1939 until 1941.
