Eduardo Luigi Paolozzi was a Scottish sculptor and artist born in Leith, Edinburgh in 1924. He studied at the Edinburgh College of Art and later at the Slade School of Fine Art in London. Paolozzi was a pioneer of the Pop Art movement in Britain and was known for his collages, sculptures, and prints. He was also a teacher and lecturer, teaching at various institutions including the Royal College of Art in London. Paolozzi's work often incorporated elements of popular culture, science fiction, and technology, and he was particularly interested in the relationship between art and technology.
