Antoine de Saint-Exupery was a French writer and aviator born in Lyon in 1900. He is best known for his novella "The Little Prince," which has been translated into over 300 languages and has sold millions of copies worldwide. Saint-Exupery began his career as a pilot in the French Air Force and later worked as a commercial pilot for Aeropostale, a French airline. He wrote several books based on his experiences as a pilot, including "Night Flight" and "Wind, Sand and Stars."
