'A photographer and journalist since 1985, I have lived and worked in India, Turkey and Madagascar, but have been based in Aix-en-Provence, southern France, since 1999. My current photographic interests include editorial, travel and documentary photography, architecture and interiors, and environmental and wildlife images.
I have published several books including 'Monasteries of Greece', described by Reference Reviews as "one of the year's top titles", and 'Splendors of the Bosphorus: Houses and Palaces of Istanbul', which I wrote and co-photographed. My photographs and illustrated features have appeared in over a thousand magazines, newspapers, books, exhibitions and CDs in some thirty countries. I syndicated feature articles through Rex Features of London from the late 1980s onwards and I wrote and photographed regularly for the Geographical Magazine for over twenty years.' ...
