Hi there. I’m Claire, a digital illustrator and designer, based in Kent. I love to explore art, design, film, fashion, music, history, travel and architecture, in its many forms. This is combined with a love for exploring London’s rich history and culture which provides plentiful source material for creative projects.
Originally from Wales, I moved to London in the mid 80s to study Graphic Information Design and worked as a graphic (print) designer, moving into web design in the late 90s, working for publishers, med comms agencies and ecommerce.

Having always loved illustration, I recently decided to make the leap into full time freelance illustration, and I'm enjoying discovering the many forms this can take.
My style, unsurprisingly is very graphic, with clean lines and flat colour. This lends itself very well to working straight into Adobe Illustrator, making full use of the scalable vector style, then often adding texture in Photoshop. ...
