John Millar Watt (1895-1975) was a Scottish artist known for his landscape paintings. Born in Glasgow, Watt studied at the Glasgow School of Art and later at the Royal Scottish Academy. He served in World War I and was wounded in action, which influenced his later work. Watt's paintings often depicted the Scottish countryside, with a focus on the changing seasons and the effects of light on the landscape. He was a member of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour and exhibited his work widely throughout Scotland and the UK.
