Rika Roth is a German artist currently living and working in northern Germany. Born and raised near Hannover, Rika spent part of her teenage years in Algeria, an experience that influenced her artistic worldview. Drawing inspiration from Joseph Beuys' concept of the "social sculptor," she uses her art to create meaningful structures in society.
In 1990, Rika completed her degree as an engineer in interior design at UAS and began her career in Hildesheim, balancing family life with work in an architectural office. From 2001 to 2009, she was an active member of the Kulturfabrik Hildesheim art Rika Roth is a German artist currently living and working in northern Germany. It was during this time that she began exploring graffiti art.
Between 2009 and 2014, under the pseudonym "Blanche Noir," Rika lived and worked in Paris, engaging with artistic squats such as "Le Jardin d'Alice" and "B.L.O.C." She is particularly known for her graffiti of the elephant-headed god Ganesh in Rue Ordener. From 2014 to 2018, she continued her artistic journey in Kassel, contributing to street art projects and participating in the *Museumsnacht Kassel*.
Today, Rika continues to create diverse works, blending her background in interior design with her passion for graffiti, painting, and collaborative art projects. ...
