Bernard Villemot (1911-89) was a French graphic designer and artist known for his iconic advertising posters. Born in Paris, Villemot studied at the École des Arts Décoratifs before starting his career as a freelance illustrator. He gained recognition in the 1950s and 60s for his bold, colorful posters for brands such as Orangina, Bally, and Perrier. Villemot's style was characterized by simple, graphic shapes and bright, eye-catching colors.
